Over a hundred years has passed since Lelouch vi Britannia died during the Zero Requiem, but since his demise much has changed including Earth being conquered by a galactic power. It confused me, because it seems to have all the trappings of a visual novel game, what with the talking heads and the dialogue flow controls and the many multi-coloured anime ladies. In the end, however, while Sunrider does provide an enjoyable experience it doesn’t manage to pull ahead of the OELVN pack. I really enjoyed some parts of the story and appreciated the depth of the battle system.
